The trail offers magnificent views of the Paphos dense and beautiful forest from all directions. The hike is mostly on the sideline of the mountains at the beginning and end, with the middle section walking to the mountain’s peak with the locality name moutti twn anemwn (mountain peak of winds) totally worth its name, due to the continuous winds hitting the hiker.

Starting points
The trailhead is found a few kilometers out of Pano Panagia village towards Paphos forest (Stavros tis Psokas/Cedar valley) and passes the Monashilaka picnic area. The trail is linear with both of its ends being accessible by road. Therefore the hiker has the following options:
- Start from the trailhead and do it either one way by leaving a car on the other end or return back to the trailhead.
- Start from the trail end and do it either one way by leaving a car on the other end or just return back. This route may be slightly easier than the first option.
- Do it circularly and return back through the road.

Personal comments
The trail is lovely and beautiful to walk. Even though it is a short one, it is totally worth visiting. The Paphos forest feels different from Troodos and Machairas forests, in the essence of being more wild I guess. The location is quite remote and hence it doesn’t get many visitors that often. Almost at all times you have a panoramic view of the Paphos forest and the endless massive mountains of the area.
The hike is mostly on the sideline of the mountains, especially at the beginning and at the end. The middle section of the hike is on the mountain peak, offering a continuous panoramic view of the forest. When starting from the trailhead (the starting point as described in the Natural trail information table), be aware of the hiking trail especially near the end. There is a point that someone could easily miss and instead of going downhill to the trail end, may go up to another mountain peak and probably get lost. So always consult the GPS route added in the GPS map.
The trail has a moderate difficulty but is totally manageable due to its short distance! The most experienced hikers seeking more action, they can combine it with Gefyria natural trail.
